THE IS300 uses a vacuum-boosted dual-circuit hydraulic braking system with four-wheel discs. At the front, 296mm x 32mm ventilated discs with twin-piston callipers are used at the rear, 307mm x 12mm solid discs with single piston callipers. A four-sensor three-channel anti-lock braking system with a "gravel road strategy" and electronic brake-force distribution is fitted standard, along with traction control and vehicle stability control (VSC).
