Land Rover lauds top Aussie dealers

LAND Rover Australia has named Gold Coast dealer Bruce Lynton Land Rover its 2011 Metropolitan Dealer of the Year and Land Rover Albany in Western Australia as its top regional dealer over the past year.

At a function in Sydney recently, Land Rover Australia acknowledged the performance of their winning dealers, who were judged on a set of criteria including sales performance, customer satisfaction, facilities presentation and training.

Jaguar Land Rover Australia director of sales operations Chris Lidis described Bruce Lynton and Albany Land Rover as “exemplary Land Rover dealers who have consistently achieved in all key areas of the business”.

“We are proud to have them as our partners,” he said.

The Bruce Lynton Group has operated in the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas for almost four decades, starting as a BMW dealer in 1974 from its original Nerang Street site in Southport.

The company says that makes it Australia’s long-serving BMW dealer.

As well representing Land Rover and BMW, the prestige automotive group also includes the Mini, Alfa Romeo and Fiat brands in its stable.

Albany Land Rover is part of the Albany World of Cars, owned by Malcolm and Pat Adamson and covering five franchises. The DOTY award was accepted by Dale Adamson.
