THE worm and roller steering system is assisted by steering geometry that uses "open-yoke" universal joints in the front axle - similar to Range Rover - to alter the kingpin location and reduce the steering offset. This means there is less steering wheel kickback. Steering and suspension ball joints use pre-loaded rubber bearing elements to minimise wear even if the seal is damaged.
