In September of 2017, Kia made waves with its new Stinger sedan, available in four-cylinder turbo and V6 guises, with the latter engine powering a high-performance GT variant.

Specifically, the powerplants on offer included a 182kW/353Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged four-pot, and a 272kW/510Nm 3.3-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder.

In both cases, the Stinger utilised an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The V6 was able to hit 100km/h from zero in 4.9 seconds, while the four-pot covered the same distance in 6.0 seconds.
