KIA describes the dark vinyl used on the Spectra's front seat bolstering and a portion of the seatback as "leatherette" and the combination of this and the cloth fabric used on the main seat sections as "sports upholstery". Cloth trim, suitably toned down from the garish pattern seen on the previous Shuma model, can also be found on the doors and armrest. The driver is able to adjust the seat cushion angle by using two dials on the side of the squab, while seatback angle is easily adjusted with a nearby lever. There is no lumbar adjustment.
