THE Optima's air-conditioning is not an automatic climate control unit but it is standard. Rotary dials control the speed of the fan and the temperature, while buttons look after the rest of the functions. There are no vents for the rear passengers to control - a feature rare among non-Australian cars. A pollen filter is standard.
