CARNIVAL suspension comprises MacPherson struts at the front and a beam axle located by five links with coil springs at the rear. Stainless steel stabilisers are fitted front and rear to improve cornering and cross-wind handling. Because pitch is a major cause of motion sickness, Kia made it a priority to keep the amount of fore/aft body movement to a minimum when setting up the suspension.
