THE boulevard-cruising set have made the military, minimalist Wrangler their own. While the basic look remains 60 years after the first Jeep appeared, Chrysler maintains that the current generation represents a 77 per cent redesign. We're not joking. Every panel bar the doors and tailgate has been changed while the addition of coil-spring suspension demanded a front-end redesign. The signatures are still there, though - oval headlights, vertical bar grille, exposed hinges.
