CHEROKEE uses a disc/drum brake set-up, with anti-lock braking (ABS) standard on the Limited and optional on the Sport petrol and diesel variants. The front ventilated disc rotors are 288mm in diameter, while the self-adjusting dual-servo rear drums measure 254mm x 44.5mm. The ABS system is three-channel with three active speed sensors and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD).
