THE S-Type's shape has been debated over and over again. Some people like it all, some people like the front, some the back and some none. It is meant to evoke the spirit of the old S-Type, a car which previously represented Jaguar in the mid-size luxury sector back in the 1960s. To toughen up this S-Type, Jaguar "dechromed" and colour-coded the exterior, then fitted 18 x 8.0-inch BBS "Monaco" wheels, with licorice-strap Pirelli P-Zero tyres sprayed to them.
