INFINITI has launched its refreshed Q70 sedan range and the luxury arm of Nissan has priced it compete.

Powered by a petrol V6 or a petrol-electric hybrid of similar stature, the prestige sedan has given the diesel ground to its German competition, instead choosing a path similar to that of its Japanese foe, Lexus.

Mildly restyled to fit the family face, the Q70 has its work cut out to erode market share from the established players from BMW and Benz, with Audi, Jaguar and Lexus also set to make life hard for the Infiniti sedan.

Throw in the Hyundai Genesis, soon to morph into its own brand, and the Q70's task gets even harder.
