Limited-edition Hyundai Tiburon TS

BY BYRON MATHIOUDAKIS | 20th Oct 2005

HYUNDAI has launched a limited-run TS edition of its Tiburon sports car.

TS? It stands for Tiger Shark, apparently, which comes not from a combination of Tiger Woods and Greg Norman but its "Tiger Orange" paintjob.

Priced from $36,490 for the six-speed auto, or from $38,180 for the clutch-less manual, the TS also features a "hi-riser" rear wing, power tilt/slide sunroof and, on the inside, black leather trim with red stitching on the contoured front sports seats as well as the rear seat, door trim inserts, steering wheel and shift lever knob.

A numbered ID plate is also included, along with climate-control air-conditioning and an upgraded (MP3) stereo.

Just 80 units will be offered.
