HYUNDAI'S new Tiburon coupe is the best example yet the South Korean brand has matured to a point where style, performance and refinement are no longer issues better left unspoken. For the first time, here is a Hyundai that doesn't cut corners when it comes to build quality and, while the V6 offers solid performance, the 2.0-litre is also well finished, cohesively styled and doesn't lack in the handling department either. But the V6 in particular feels solid and well built, its 17-inch wheels gripping the road better and its smooth V6 engine happy to rev all the way to redline. Both Tiburons, however, represent good style and value equations in the fickle coupe market.
