SONATA'S 2.5-litre V6 has more power and torque than the 3.0-litre it replaced, and a manual gearbox is offered on the Sonata V6 for the first time. Sonata now uses a multi-link independent rear suspension with double wishbones up front, while the GLS/Classique model retains its high level of standard equipment - with the exception of safety-related items - and adds Michelin tyres with 15-inch alloy wheels and a six-stack CD player.
