FORD LASER 4D SEDAN (1992-1994)
THE top selling, locally assembled (KF II) Laser was based on the Mazda 323 and their mechanical specifications and performance are almost identical. The entry level GL sedan has a basic equipment level which includes power steering.

DAIHATSU APPLAUSE 4D SEDAN (1991-1998)
THE Applause has less interior space than its rivals. The hatchback rear door provides good access to the boot. The 1.6- litre, fuel-injected engine has a strong 77kW output and is very economical in manual transmission form.

NISSAN PULSAR 4D SEDAN (1991-1993)
THE last locally built Pulsar does everything well and is accepted as one of the best in its class. The 1.6-litre engine has an output of 81kW. In GLi form there is no power steering and the equipment level is basic.
