HYUNDAI’S Elantra may not have the profile of some its contemporaries in Australia – think the popular Holden Cruze or Toyota Corolla sedan – but the booted i30 is actually the Korean car-maker’s biggest seller globally.

The fifth-generation Elantra that launched in 2011 ushered in the most stylish and most resolved iteration of the car to date and caused a few headaches for its more popular rivals.

Time then for a mid-life refresh to push Hyundai’s small car contender to the top of people’s shopping lists.

Locally tuned suspension and extra standard gear headline this make-over, ensuring the very likeable Elantra is an even better proposition than before.
