LAVITA has a large dash with a central binnacle housing the instruments and a metallic-looking T-shaped centre console surrounding major controls such as the stereo and temperature units and the high-mounted transmission lever (manual or auto). The instruments are set deep within the binnacle, featuring analogue gauges for the large speedo (increments to 220km/h) and smaller tacho (6500rpm redline), temperature and fuel gauges. Also contained in this pod is a digital clock and a small LCD display for the odometer and twin trip meter. Facing the driver is a separate pod for indicators and warning lights.
