LAVITA occupants are seated high and in theatre-style, which means the rear passengers sit slightly higher than in the front. The front seats fully recline, with the driver adding adjustment for seat cushion angle and lumbar support, while the rear seat has six backrest angle positions. The front seatbelts have pretensioners, load limiters and adjustable pillar mounts and all seating positions are provided with a head restraint. The centre-rear position uses an inferior lap belt. The rear seat is split 60/40 and can slide fore/aft 200mm to either increase legroom or improve the luggage space. These portions also fold and can be tumbled forward to seat up against the front seatbacks, secured with a strap attached to the front headrest. The seats cannot be removed.
