THE Elantra's dash is angled toward the driver and places all major controls within easy reach. The sedan features an in-dash slot to hold parking tickets and the like. A rubber grip mat is fitted to the centre console open tray to better hold loose objects. The former in-dash cupholders were deemed too close to the gearshift and replaced with moulded "bottle holes" beside the handbrake.
