HSV is a byword for big horsepower, rear-wheel drive cars and the Maloo fits that bill to the letter. It employs a front-mounted, longitudinal V8 driving the rear wheels only, but at the same time makes do without driver aids like traction control and the Control-Link suspension set-up afforded its sedan stablemates.
