NO prizes for guessing the Maloo is a strict two-seater, as is the case with all current Holden Ute models, after the venerable bench seat was finally tossed into the parts bin at the release of the all-new VU model. Both Maloo models are equipped with driver and passenger airbags, but not the side airbags that are standard across the HSV sedan range. There are no cupholders in Maloo, or any HSV model for that matter, as they are replaced in the conversion process from Holden to HSV by a centre console owner's compendium comprising a tyre pressure gauge, mini-Maglite torch, pocket knife and a wheel nut cap removal tool.
