THREE brake packages are available on HSV models - Sports, Performance and Premium. The base level Sports package is standard on Maloo and comprises police specification pads, regular twin-piston front and single-piston rear callipers, ventilated front discs (296 x 28mm) and solid rear discs (286 x 16mm) plus ABS. The Performance package (pictured) is standard on Maloo R8, optional on Maloo, and includes larger (330 x 32mm) ventilated and grooved front discs, upgraded two-piston front callipers and pads, 315 x 18mm ventilated and grooved rear discs, and silver finish front and rear hubs. The Premium package is optional on both models and consists of massive 343 x 32mm ventilated and cross-drilled front discs, the same 315 x 18mm rear discs as Performance-spec but now also cross-drilled, and four-piston callipers front and rear (finished in red with HSV embossed logo) with upgraded pads.
