THE front double wishbone suspension system was revised to enhance braking stability, cornering linearity, and ride compliance. The elastomeric bushing on the leading link features stiffer material that increases its elasticity and resilience against harsh impact energy and eliminates brake judder or shimmy under heavy braking. The rear suspension further improves handling precision and ride quality, with a change in the rear transverse arm length optimising camber angle with body roll when cornering, allowing the rear wheel to maintain a more optimum toe angle, thus generating higher cornering force. The diameter of the rear anti-roll bar was increased to aid camber control, and low-friction pillow-ball joints were utilised. The increased size of the rear-wheel bearing and the stiffer mounting helped to minimise rear-suspension steer effect during braking and cornering.
