RECARO front seats are a central Type R feature, and the new model is faithful to the concept with a pair of suede-covered items up front. The difference is that this time they are trimmed in tune with the rest of the interior, including the 50-50 split-fold rear seats. The features may seem a little lacking in this era of multi-adjusting seats - there's no cushion height or tilt adjust, for example - but the anatomically-sound passenger support is legendary.
