FOR a limited time, Honda will offer two distinctive interior colour schemes on up-spec RS and VTi-L variants of its HR-V small SUV, for a small $300 premium.

Crimson Red is available on the sportier-themed RS, while the VTi-LX flagship can be had with Classic White.

The new upholstery covers the HR-V’s seats, centre console, dashboard and armrests and is available to complement the Platinum White, Modern Steel and Crystal Black exterior paint option of both variants.

RS variants can also pair the Crimson Red interior with a Lunar Silver exterior and VTi-LX can be had with a combination of Passion Red exterior and Classic White cabin.

Honda Australia general manager of product, customer and communications, Robert Thorp, said the HR-V’s two new interior colour options “take Honda’s compact SUV to the next level”.

“Style plays an important part in the purchase decision for small SUV buyers, so these special interior colourways will further enhance the stylish appeal of HR-V amongst customers.

”We want to ensure we continue to give our customers what they want and these fresh interior colour options will provide greater choice and flexibility for customers to design a stylish package that meets their needs.”

In July, Honda Australia introduced special 50 Years editions of its most popular models, including the HR-V that gained $2700 worth of extra equipment for a $1425 price premium over the base VTi, comprising 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, side steps, alloy sports pedals and black side-mirror caps.

Prior to this, Honda added a +Luxe variant to the HR-V line-up in February that upgraded the lower mid-spec VTi-S with black leather upholstery, heated front seats and access to premium paint options.
