THE HR-V drives along just like a small front-wheel drive wagon in normal conditions. But just like big brother CR-V, the "Real Time" four-wheel drive system kicks-in to send more power to the rear wheels when it detects front tyre slippage. It's a basic system that's not designed to take you far from the beaten track.
