THE revised fascia in the five-door relocates the power mirror switches onto the dash proper. Power door locks for all side windows are standard. The driver's side power window has an anti-entrapment mechanism to prevent accidental jamming when windows are being wound up. HR-V's levers for wiper and headlight control were newly designed for easy operation. In reality, however, the double action wash-wipe in which the driver has to activate the washers and wipers in two separate operations is annoying and unnecessary. The heating and ventilation dials and associated switchgear are large, prominently displayed and a breeze to use. Remote central locking is standard across the HR-V range.
