HONDA has moved from double wishbones to MacPherson struts up front for the new Civic, opening up space for a relocated steering system that improves crash safety. New geometry also means better tyre contact with the road surface. At the back, there's an all-new multi link system with the spring, damper and lower wishbone moved outward to create boot space and make room for the exhaust system.
