THE new Civic benefits from a flat floor and the dash-mounted gearshift allows extra space for front seat passengers. The Civic's platform is all new, with the wheelbase of the hatch being 60mm longer than the sedan version. Overall, the hatch is shorter than the sedan by 165mm.
