HONDA Australia has introduced 40th Anniversary Limited Edition versions of its Civic and Accord, marking four decades of operation for the Japanese brand in Australia and offering customers up to $2000 worth of additional equipment.

Based on the 1.8-litre Civic VTi and limited to 800 units, the 40th Anniversary LE adds 15-inch alloy wheels, foglamps, rear parking sensors, a chrome exhaust tip, unique ‘40th Anniversary’ badging and rear parking sensors.

The combined value, according to Honda, is $2000, with the Civic LE price set at $24,990 driveaway. Automatic transmission and metallic paint cost extra.

Meanwhile, the 2.4-litre Accord LE is priced from $34,990 driveaway and offers a claimed $1300 worth of extra equipment, including foglamps, reverse parking sensors, Bluetooth wiring and ‘deluxe tailored’ floor maps. It, too, is limited to 800 units.
