THE Accord adopts torque-sensitive power steering that reacts to the force created between tyre and road to determine the amount of power-assistance required. The steering is also helped by changes to the front suspension, including the lowering of the roll centre that reduces understeer as well as the "jacking" effect under lateral cornering forces.
