AN electronic immobilisation security system with two-stage unlock and alarm is standard. The immobiliser features 16 million new codes. Full remote locking with deadlock, and a slip-type steering column lock help deter theft, as do the free-wheeling door lock cylinders. The electric boot release in the glovebox is disabled when the car is locked and the security system is armed. Approach lighting turns on the exterior lighting when the car is unlocked remotely. Exit illumination automatically turns on the interior lighting at night when the ignition is turned off.
