THE Holden family connection is not hard to see when you first lay eyes on the Statesman. It is certainly longer and shinier, but there is no doubt that this is a smoothed, styled and stretched VT Commodore. The result is a much more convincing Statesman than its predecessor, which went through more facelifts than Elizabeth Taylor in its long life.
