Statesman gains some sporting accents

HOLDEN has rolled out its 2006 Statesman International, which has a distinctive grille, black inserts for the front lights, a boot lid spoiler, electric sunroof and 17-inch alloy wheels with 225/50 R17 tyres.

Priced from $56,990, the International is available with Holden’s 190kW 3.6-litre Alloytec V6 engine or 260kW 6.0-litre V8, the latter priced from $61,690.

It has two "anthracite black" interior trim options with either "neutral pewter" or "light reed" leather-faced seats.

The cabin features a dark faux woodgrain instrument panel strip and accents, black instrument console, radio and switches.

A sports-profile leather-wrapped steering wheel is also fitted.
