SE and Monterey Jackaroo models have remote keyless entry and an anti-theft alarm that monitors all doors and the engine hood. The immobilisation system is designed to provide "drive-away" protection by electronically disabling the fuel and ignition systems and the starter motor relay. It is a passive system, requiring no action on the part of the driver other than removing the ignition key from the switch. The remote locking "answer back" feature on Jackaroo SE and Monterey models has been revised from the horn "chirp" to a hazard light flash.
