Holden releases Lumina special

AS FORD prepares to launch is BF-series Falcon, GM Holden has wheeled out a Lumina edition of its VZ Commodore sedan and wagon, both of which are claimed to deliver more than $6000 worth of extra features.

Priced from $32,990 for the sedan and $34,990 for the load-lugger, the Executive-based Luminas have 17-inch alloy wheels, a six-disc in-dash CD player, full electric operation on the windows, a leather-clad steering wheel and, on the sedan, the FE1.5 "luxury sports" suspension tune.

Also included are air-conditioning, front foglights, chrome exhaust extension, black bezel headlights, roof rails/racks (wagon), a rear spoiler (sedan), full trip computer and special-edition seat and door trim fabric. Side airbags are available as an option.

The limited-edition VZ Lumina will be on sale until December.
