THE four-door Holden Frontera V6 is a different vehicle to the four-cylinder two-door that has soldiered on with only minor changes since 1995. The extra doors make it more accessible to more potential buyers and the six-cylinder engine suffers none of the power shortages of the 2.2-litre four, although it can feel a little reluctant off the mark. But with average ride and handling, it generally fails to excite when judged against its opposition.
