THE arrival of the 3.2-litre V6 Frontera in 1999 was very welcome for Holden dealers, who had been working with just the Australian-made, 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, two-door version since 1995. The all-alloy V6 is a real powerhouse with its 151kW putting it at the front of its segment in terms of performance. There is no shortage of technology with all-alloy construction, electronic fuel-injection, twin overhead camshafts and 24 valves.
