THE Frontera sits unobtrusively in the medium size light-truck derived (originally) 4WD class with the likes of Nissan Pathfinder and Mitsubishi Challenger. The Rodeo connections are well hidden externally but the dash and basic control layout are the same. Ground clearance and other off-road issues are well covered but it is not quite as bush-ready as most of the bigger 4WDs.
