SAY hello to Holden’s fastest Commodore – the SS-V Redline. It’s the car for whom the ‘regular’ SS-V just isn’t hard-edged enough.

In addition to all the standard SS-V toys, the new Redline sedan, Sportwagon and Ute gets a wider set of wheels wearing specially developed tyres, a re-tuned chassis, head-up display and a new ‘Competitive mode’ traction control setting.

This setting relaxes the settings without switching them off entirely, meaning you can wiggle the tail without the tail wiggling you right back.

Holden will charge you an extra $6000 for the pleasure, but judging by early order levels, a lot of people can see the value.

You wouldn’t be half wrong to call this the best offer within the impressive new VF Commodore range, and you certainly wouldn’t be off the mark to say it was clearly the most exhilarating.

Meet the car that not only moves the bar forward for hot Holdens, but also puts its tuning arm HSV on notice.
