Holden accessorises with new Commodore

BY TIM NICHOLSON | 11th Jun 2013

HOLDEN has released pricing and details of three levels of customisation for its VF Commodore large-car range.

The modifications start with a $625 kit that includes blacked-out plastics for the grille surround, daytime running light surrounds and fender vents.

A second-stage kit costing $2045 adds a black lip spoiler (sedan models only), track stripes, sports engine cover with red accents on V8 models only, alloy pedals and front and rear sports mats.

Spending $5050 also adds bigger 20-inch forged alloy wheels (not available on Redline models) and high-performance tyres.

Buyers can also select individual items from each kit, starting from $95 for the fender vents.

Other accessories in Holden's essentials range include rubber floor mats ($150), a towbar ($790), mud flaps ($85), headlamp protectors ($145), roo bar ($1490) and second-row iPad holders ($245).

Holden has also accessorised its Colorado workhorse with a special-edition Thunder pack.

The pack includes a nudge bar, towing package, bonnet protector, slim-line weather shields, front carpet floor mats, one-piece rear carpet floor mats, and a soft tonneau cover (not available on LX 4x4 crew-cab chassis).

While Holden has not released pricing for the Thunder, the pack is available for no added cost on 4x4 LT crew-cab pick-up models with a driveaway price of $39,990.

Thunder is available on LX 4x4 crew-cab chassis and pick-up, and LT and LTZ 4x4 crew-cab pick-up models.
