THE arrival of the Commodore Sportwagon with Euro fastback styling marked a shift in the Holden wagon’s typical boxy and big hearse look. The addition of the top-of-the line Calais for the first time as a regular member of the range just reinforces that shift. Now the family man with a liking for Aussie iron can justify buying the big Holden without feeling as if his fleet manager made him do it.
