THE SRi takes the four-wheel disc brakes fitted standard across the Barina range and adds a four-sensor four-channel Bosch 5.3 anti-lock braking system. Traction control, which uses the brakes and/or engine torque to reduce front wheel spin, is also included. The ventilated front brakes measure 260mm in diameter, with the solid rear discs 240mm. The brake booster has increased in size over previous Barina models for better brake pedal feel and less effort.
