THE chances of having an accident in the Barina SRi has now reduced with the standard fitting of anti-lock brakes and traction control, and greater dynamic stability characteristics brought with the wider front and rear track, lower ride height, sports suspension and a 15-inch wheel and tyre combination. SRi also has exclusive access to rear head restraints and its arrival marked the inclusion across the range of a three-point seatbelt in the centre-rear position. Front occupants in Barina are well served with front airbags, anti-whiplash headrests, force-limiting seatbelts, seatbelt pretensioners and sash height adjustment.
