FRONT seat occupants are now sitting in the safest Barina seats to date thanks to the inclusion of active head restraints and belt-force limiters. The front seatbelts also have pyrotechnic pretensioners and the sash can be adjusted for height. The five-door has exclusive access to seat height adjustment. All seating positions have anti-submarining ramps and, bowing to public pressure, Holden has introduced a three-point seatbelt in the centre-rear position. Rear headrests are not provided. The rear seatback splits 60/40, is reinforced and has a hinge locking system designed to protect against a shifting load. Child anchorage points are also located behind the rear seats.
