LUGGAGE space in the Barina has increased slightly over its predecessor. With the bench rear seat occupied, the load volume is 260 litres in both the three-door and five-door models. Both also have a 60/40 split-fold rear seat which can increase the maximum load area capacity to 1060 litres. The cargo floor is carpeted, has a couple of shopping bag hooks as well as luggage straps to tie down small objects - a legacy of European-spec cars that are required to have safety features such as a toolkit and warning triangle fitted.
