HOLDEN says the new-generation Barina is more evolution than revolution - and, boy, it isn't wrong about that! From the front and side profile the car looks just like the "beep beep" car of old, with the rear tail-light treatment the one significant giveaway that the car has changed. Look closely - or have a dealer point the details out - and you might recognise an Astra-like trapezoidal grille, a slightly longer body and uniquely flared wheel arches. Aerodynamics have improved, the drag co-efficient now 0.32 - about six per cent better than its predecessor.
