Astra sedan emerges

HOLDEN'S European arm Opel has showed off its new Astra sedan ahead of its world premiere at the Istanbul motor show this month.

In Europe, the four-door becomes the fifth model in the Astra range alongside the five-door hatch, station wagon, three-door GTC and cabrio-coupe TwinTop.

And its prospects for Australia? A Holden spokesman told GoAuto last week that the car was unlikely to be sold here.
