DISC brakes are used at each corner of the car - 280x25mm ventilated at the front and 264x10mm at the rear. While CD models have a four-sensor four-channel Bosch 5.3 anti-lock braking system and electronic traction control available as an option, the three-door City model goes without. Front brake wear sensors are integrated into the brake pads and indicate, via an audible warning, when the pads need replacing.
