THE invasion of Chinese automotive product has been looming large on the horizon but has been hampered by lacklustre build quality, safety issues and recalls, but the industry is fast learning its lessons.

Haval, the Great Wall SUV spin-off brand, has had several SUVs on the market in Australia but its most recent addition, the H6, is the model most likely to have a positive impact on the brand image in Australia.

Roomy, equipped to compete and wearing a pricetag that will get people interested, the H6 Luxury isn’t wanting for much in the way of gear, but is offered in one drivetrain only for now – turbo-petrol, automatic and front-wheel drive.
